NATURE RESERVE


The year starts with a new raptor recorded in the reserve: the Double-toothed Kite (Harpagus bidentatus). The number of bird species recorded rises to 245.

An interesting fact early in the year about wildlife releases is that they come from rescues carried out by individuals. We were able to release a box turtle, a , and a porcupine.

ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION

With the collaboration of the Indo-America University, workshops have been organized on the importance of trees at the village school. The aim is to provide teachers from other schools with a manual of environmental education on this topic.
